Disclosure: I have attended this movie free as part of the screening team, all opinions are honest and mine.

I got a chance to see The Snowman starring Michael Fassbender and directed by Tomas Alfredson. A crime, serial killer Detective story based on the best seller book by the same name. I have not read the book so I was going into the film blind with that said the movie as a whole was good. The one thing that I did not like was the drag in the storyline it felt like forever to get the characters developed. Taking away from the pace of the film and slowing it down way to much. Michael Fassbender I felt did a great job with the role the casting was done well.

This film by no means is a horror movie it could have been made into a Seven style movie the killer had the making of being name into a gruesome killer but was not. The R rating was justified it did have its bit of gore of the aftermath of the killing. I will not go into the storyline let you see it for your self and let you make your own judgment of the film. If you are a fan of crime and detective films this is a must-see for you. Going into more details will spoil the film it’s a thinkers film you have to pay close attention to what you are seeing to piece together who is the killer
