Live from Dyersville, Iowa, Netflix closed out its inaugural season of MLB coverage with the return of the Field of Dreams Game, as the Minnesota Twins took on the Philadelphia Phillies. The matchup marks the first MLB game held at the Dyersville site since 2022, and the third live MLB broadcast Netflix has streamed this year, following Opening Night in March and the Home Run Derby in July.

In a special pregame tribute echoing the famous final scene of the film, 26 Hall of Famers stepped out from the cornfield in the outfield and made their way to the infield in an unforgettable moment. Kyle Schwarber, joined by fellow All-Star Byron Buxton of the Twins, introduced the group of legendary players, which included former standouts connected to both franchises — among them Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Joe Mauer, and Jim Thome. Ahead of the game, Andruw Jones and Jeff Kent, both part of the 2026 Hall of Fame induction class, delivered the ceremonial first pitches.

Matt Vasgersian, CC Sabathia, and Hunter Pence led the in-game coverage for the event, similar to Opening Night. They were joined this time by Anthony Rizzo, who transitioned from pregame and postgame duties to being the third analyst in the booth. On the studio side, Barry Bonds served as the pregame and postgame analyst alongside Albert Pujols at the studio desk. Lauren Shehadi reported from the field, while Elle Duncan also contributed to the pregame and postgame coverage.
