THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT FLOWS THROUGH THE DEG’S “WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20” LIST

The holiday merriment of recent weeks continued in the DEG’s ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list, with eight of 10 slots filled by seasonal titles. Love Actually joined the chart at No. 19, as others climbed: Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch moved from No. 10 to No. 2; The Polar Express ran from No. 13 to No. 8; and A Christmas Story made the leap to No. 12 from No. 19. Yellowstone: Season 3 made a dash back up the list taking the No. 1 spot, up from No. 16 a week earlier, and Yellowstone: Season 1 moved up to No. 4 from No. 14. Fan-favorite Selena enters the chart at No. 17 after a boost from the Netflix series of the same name.

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
