The Entitled Sons new track Jocelyn is out now!

Hailing from East Somerset, The Entitled Sons are a family band consisting of, Charlie (vocals), Rafferty (guitar), Billy (keys), Laurie (drums) and their dad Graham (bass).

The band have been gaining popularity since their debut single ‘Break’, released in 2022. Since then, The Entitled Sons have had a phenomenal climb to fame thanks to their compositions, recordings, and releases of music that have caught the attention of BBC Introducing and a host of regional and national radio stations, such as BBC Radio Bristol, BBC Somerset, and Somer Valley FM. Their charity single ‘These Days’ went to No.1 on iTunes, which they wrote on behalf of their mother and wife who were going through treatment for breast cancer, highlighting their heartfelt music and commitment to social causes. They have also performed at events throughout the West Country, including the Glastonbury Festival (2023), where they won the Pilton Competition and got to play on multiple stages.

Back bigger and louder than ever, The Entitled Sons have released their brand-new single ‘Jocelyn’, ahead of their debut EP, Still Too Young.

‘Jocelyn’ is the modern equivalent of ‘Stacey’s Mom’, and her story will undoubtedly pique the interest of listeners and viewers alike. The song was inspired by one band member’s experience with an older lady.

Produced by Shadow Hands, the song was written at Cornwall’s CUBE Studios. The vibrant arrangement of ‘Jocelyn’ has electric guitar, synth, drums, bass, and keys, accompanied by energetic vocals. Their sound blurs the musical boundaries of pop rock, new rock, and indie rock, making for a distinctive musical experience.

On the release, The Entitled Sons share, “Erm. It’s about sleeping with your friend’s mum. Yes, we have changed the names! But we would like to say that no homes were wrecked.”

The band are making waves despite their young, enthralling audiences with their intense performances, and getting set for a full festival schedule this year, which includes a return Autumn Tour of the UK from September to November. Check out their tour dates, here.

Accumulating press coverage across Daily Mail, Emerging Rock Bands, and Metro, with radio airplay achievements with the likes of BBC Introducing, BBC South West, Live Acoustic play version, and playlisting support from Spotify Radar Playlist, The Entitled Sons have presented themselves as a rising rock band with a lot of promise for the future.
