Dominican singer, producer, and cinematographer, The Change, releases the first Spotify Singles remix, “Hora Loca Remix” alongside renowned group Piso 21. This marks the first time Spotify launches a remix in its Spotify Singles franchise.
During June, The Change’s original version of “Hora Loca” was the cover of Spotify’s Radar US Latin playlist, an extension of the platform’s global program for rising artists, and became one of its most successful Latin stories. This way, “Hora Loca” placed within the Top 50 on Spotify’s viral charts in the United States, amassing more than 13 million streams.
Spotify Singles has generated over 4 billion streams since its inception in 2017 and was created to provide artists with the opportunity to record new versions of both their own songs and songs by artists whom they love.
“I was chosen as June’s Radar US Latin artist, and these last few months have shown an enormous growth. My music started reaching other places around the world, so much so that I would read about it before going to bed,” comments The Change, whose audience has grown to more that 2 million monthly listeners.
