Los Angeles post-production house DigitalFilm Tree (DFT) is proud to host the SXSW Featured Panel Ted Lasso: Emotion in the Edit on Wednesday, March 17th at 8 AM PST. Lasso showrunner/ producer Bill Lawrence (Spin City, Scrubs, Cougar Town), supervising producer Kip Kroeger (The Conners, Dave), and editors Melissa Brown McCoy (Whiskey Cavalier, Undateable) and A.J. Catoline (Historical Roasts, Speechless) will be joined by DFT COO and ACE CinemaEditor Magazine staff writer Nancy Jundi for a one-hour deep-dive conversation about the success of the hit Apple TV+ series. Together, they’ll explore the laugh-out-loud magic of this breakout show, and how Lasso‘s editorial team consistently locates the show’s optimistic heart and humor with a knowing cut and a highly intentional soundtrack.
Additionally, fans and journalists alike can join in the conversation, as Jundi (@HeyJundi), Kroeger (@KipKroeger), McCoy (@MelBMcCoy), and Catoline (@ajcatoline) will be live-tweeting during the DFT-produced broadcast of this virtual panel with the hashtag #EmotionInTheEdit (and might be joined by special Lasso guests). All are welcome to tweet along as you watch and ask questions of Team Lasso—bringing the rowdy Q&A format of a typical SXSW live panel to the interactive world of Twitter.
