Actress Tara Reid recently visited Red House Streaming’s production facility to film scenes for the independent horror-comedy feature Chicken Head, directed by Corin Nemec.
Reid joined the production for a day of filming after principal photography had wrapped earlier this year, with scenes captured at multiple locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, including Red House Streaming’s studios.
The film follows a small town facing an unusual threat: a serial killer with the head of a chicken. Combining horror, comedy and a mockumentary format, the film pairs deadpan, office-style humor with over-the-top slasher satire.
As a multi-award-winning company, Red House Streaming’s hosting of productions such as Chicken Head reflects the growing role Tampa Bay continues to play in independent filmmaking and content creation. The facility supports television and podcast productions, live streaming, and commercial and film projects seeking professional studio space and production resources.

Reid, known for her roles in American Pie, The Big Lebowski and the Sharknado franchise, spoke positively about her experience working on set.
“What a wonderful studio. Great green room. It is really fun, and the people are great here,” Reid said.
The cast also includes Jason London (Dazed and Confused), Keith Coogan (Adventures in Babysitting, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead), Zack Gottsagen (The Peanut Butter Falcon), Paul Wilson (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) and David Faustino (Married with Children).
Nemec, also known for his roles in Parker Lewis Can’t Lose and Stargate SG-1, praised Red House Streaming’s facilities and team.
