Los Angeles, CA – February 28, 2025 – Indie rock powerhouse Tunnel returns with her latest project, Ampersand EP, a powerful blend of raw energy and boundary-pushing indie rock. Stream Ampersand EP here.
Blending shoegaze textures, grunge grit, and evocative storytelling, Ampersand EP features three tracks that dive deep into themes of confidence, love, and emotional detachment. The release sees classically trained violinist Natasha Janfaza expanding her sonic palette with heavier, distortion-drenched soundscapes and unconventional song structures. The EP also boasts collaborations with Joe Lally of post-hardcore legends Fugazi on the title track, while Brendan Canty drives the rhythm section throughout.
Drawing inspiration from icons like Liz Phair, My Bloody Valentine, and Knifeplay, Tunnel is set to bring these songs to life on her West Coast Tour, which includes a highly anticipated South by Southwest debut this March.
