We were able to get a review copy of Season 1 of Special Ops: Lioness on Blu Ray! I was able to sit down and check out the show on Blu Ray rather than on Paramount Plus. The Blu Ray version did not disappoint as I was able to see the show in a different view with no commercials in between. The Special Features was truly awesome as I was able to check out some cool featurettes that had rewatching for a second and a third time.
Our Thoughts
Pro:
- Behind The Story Featurettes
- I liked the behind the story featurettes to learn more about the characters of Lioness. As a viewer, this gives a better glimpse of the characters of the show. This way, I can understand the motions some of the characters have one throughout the first season.
- Training
- Man, I didn’t realize how tough the training the actors and actresses had to go through for the show. The amount of military training the cast had done was crazy. I have a better appreciation for the cast to do this training for the show.
Con:
- Digital
- I know the show is on Paramount Plus, but would have loved to have this owned as digital. I enjoy watching shows on the digital side as an owner to preserve the Blu Ray copy even more.
