Songbird Film Review

Songbird is a film that hit close to home in the world we live in today. Filled with a who’s who of Hollywood cast from Demi Moore to Alexandra Daddario and many more. Directed by Adam Mason we get a look into a pandemic-torn world where the wealthy strive and the have nots are sent to the Q zone.

We follow a group of survivors a few of who are immune to Covid-23 and have a yellow wristband that marks them as immune. The main story we follow is Nico played by KJ Apa he is a carrier of packages. Trying to save money to get his love out of the city Sara (Sofia Carson). The sick are not allowed to stay in the public with morning testing via phone they are checked. The sick are taken by force to the Q zone or killed.

Every character in this film is tied to Nico in some way to help him and Sara. Each person in the film story ties together in this film perfectly. Everyone has a struggle and without knowing they fit like a puzzle to help each other.

Songbird is an amazing film where I could go on about the story but that would spoil the film. I got hooked to the storyline fast and with the world, we live in with Covid-19 I could relate to the story. The casting was spot on and you will see when you give this one a watch. I give this film an 8.5 out of 10. I highly recommend watching this one and watch the story unfold for yourself.
