| (Los Angeles, CA) June 9, 2023 – Today, self-made pop artist Slayyyter enters her new era with single, “Out Of Time,” out everywhere now via FADER Label. The single and accompanying visualizer kick off a momentous summer for Slayyyter with appearances at Pride festivals across the country along with the sold-out Boiler Room: New York City fest taking place on July 14th at the Brooklyn Mirage.

On the punchy new track “Out Of Time,” Slayyyter couples her in-your-face production and club beats with business professional realness. The lively single begins with light choral vocalizing including whispers of the title of the song before electronic drum beats and synth with an 80s flair kick in. Shadowed by upbeat instrumentals, the lyrics reveal the dark reality of the tribulations of trying to “make it” in entertainment. “Say goodnight angel eyes, you could be out of time, I’m out of time,” sings Slayyyter, admitting her inner uncertainty. The single’s visualizer gives fans a look into what they can expect from the new era of Slayyyter – an abundance of Hollywood luxury, celebrity obsession, dreams and delusions, femme fatales, vanity, and more.
On the new single, Slayyyter shares, “‘Out of Time’ is the first chapter of my next era. It sums up a lot of characters I’ve met around Hollywood. People with big dreams that somehow get stuck in the mix, people convincing themselves there is still time to make it happen. It was inspired by a lot of my own anxieties and insecurities about being a smaller artist in the music industry. I think some of it came from a place of existential dread I have in general too. I’ve grown up so much since I started making music and this song is a slick 80s rebirth for me about anyone who has ever wanted to be famous.” |

With over 300M global streams, an 800K social following, and 25M YouTube views, Slayyyter, who recently just wrapped up a tour with Tove Lo, is launching headfirst into 2023. Growing up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Slayyyter worshiped pop culture from afar, a devout acolyte of such top 40 stalwarts as Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. After dropping out of college, she began to record music as Slayyyter, a pseudonym from her favorite Dazed and Confused character. Following the release of her debut LP Troubled Paradise, “Out Of Time” marks a new and evolved stage for the singer.
This year, Slayyyter is slated to perform at Pride festivals throughout the United States, including Kentuckiana Pride, Chicago Pride, and more along with festivals such as Life Is Beautiful and Happyland later this year.
