About Skrmiish:
Made by gamers for gamers.
Skrmiish is a pioneering app-driven gaming platform that allows streamers, PC gamers, teams, and brands to create and monetise their own competitive gaming experience anytime, anywhere.
Skrmiish is currently in beta with new functionality planned for release in the near future.
The app also houses live leaderboards where users can challenge their friends or, through the app’s auto-matchmaking functionality, play against someone random but of similar standing on the leaderboard. Leaderboard Points (LP), the app’s in-house points system acts as a wagering tool between gamers to climb the ranks in.
Founded by Chris Heaton and Roland Reed, Skrmiish have a mission to elevate the competitive gaming experience, for streamers and gamers of all skill levels.
For gamers, Skrmiish offers a true professional vs amateur (ProAM) gaming experience. Until now, gamers were left to watch their streaming heroes play with little opportunity to engage directly with them. Finally, with Skrmiish, gamers can play against their favourite streamers in 1v1 Kill Races.
For streamers, Skrmiish creates the opportunity to drive increased viewer engagement, growing a streamer’s community while improving the competitive edge of their content in a safe, fun and fair manner. Upcoming features include a subscription model aimed to help streamers of all sizes effectively monetise their communities.
