Sessions Presents Jukebox the Ghost Performing Two Sessions Live from NYC April 22 & May 20

Today Sessions is excited to announce two special performances by power pop trio Jukebox the Ghost, taking place April 22 and May 20 live from NYC. The first show will celebrate their 2008 debut album Let Live & Let Ghosts; the second show will celebrate their 2010 album Everything Under the Sun. For both shows, the group will perform each album in its entirety. These will be the first virtual concerts performed on stage for the band; it also marks the first time playing their acclaimed albums all the way through. Making this an extra special intimate evening, the trio will feature commentary throughout the concerts about how they made the records, what it was like being in the studio, and their journey as a band. Both shows will be live-streamed exclusively on Sessions and will be followed by a VIP afterparty during which fans will have the opportunity to hang out with the band virtually.
“This is the first time we will ever have played our first and second album front to back. When we were touring on these albums we were lucky to get 100 people through the door in any city! It’s not the sort of show that we would ever be able to take on the road now, but doing them as virtual concerts means anyone in any city can watch and that feels really special even as the world starts opening up again,” says vocalist/keyboardist Ben Thronewill.
“These album showcases are the kind of events that make Sessions stand apart. We are so excited that Jukebox the Ghost is exclusively performing Let Live & Let Die and Everything Under the Sun in their entirety on Sessions,” said co-Founder, Tim Westergren. “The band will stream live to a global audience across 250 countries and afterwards will hold an intimate chat with their friends about their creative process, taking complete advantage of this infinite interactive virtual stage.”
