Debut album NW was released in 2019 followed by a UK tour and festival dates including one of Scotland’s major rock and metal fests, Wildfire. The band managed to squeeze in a short run of dates just before the pandemic started, however, not to be deterred by the lack of shows in 2020 they released the single Silverhand, receiving excellent reviews across the rock media.
Nocturne Wulf are: Bobby McDougal (vocals) Jamie Patterson (guitar)
Chris Horne (guitar) Steve Scott (bass) Marc McArthur (drums)
New single Troll Hunter is based on the Scandinavian ‘found footage’ mockumentary film of the same name. The song is open to personal interpretation of course, fighting adversity and overcoming your fears etc but essentially, it’s about the movie character Hans who hunts and kills Trolls.
The song has been a personal favourite of the band to play live. The crowds love it and it has a chorus which remains stuck in your head long after the show. The single itself features the return of front man Bobby McDougal to the band and introduces new drummer Marc McArthur to the set-up.
Troll Hunter is released on Friday 19th March
