LOS ANGELES, CA (July 18, 2024) – The face of rap in Mexico Santa Fe Klan is back, showing a more vulnerable side of himself with the release of “Llamas.” This heartfelt track explores themes of contrasting emotions and the complexities of relationships. “Llamas” alongside the official music video are now available on all streaming platforms.

Stirring deep emotions, “Llamas” delves into a relationship where one finds comfort in their partner, and is prepared to leave the past behind.  Describing himself as ice and his love interest as fire, she embodies the flame of their passion that burns through him, signifying the intense heat of their attraction and undeniable chemistry. In a heartfelt exchange, he extends apologies for past mistakes, expressing his readiness to move forward, while she acknowledges his constant presence in her thoughts, signaling a mutual desire for resolution and renewal. The melancholy yet passionate track is characterized by rhythms of the acoustic guitars combined with the captivating melodies of the song.

The music video, directed by AESE13 features Santa Fe Klan at home in his living room, amidst a dark stormy night. Looking back on old photographs,  Santa Fe Klan paces around, reminiscing on the beautiful moments he shared with his lover and giving viewers a glimpse of these shared times. Visibly distraught, he gives her a call only to have it go straight to voicemail but eventually connects with her via a pay phone. The flashes of lightning seeping through the curtains and every flashback throughout vividly captures the torment this relationship has inflicted on him. “Llamas” not only portrays this introspective journey but also resonates deeply with listeners, capturing the universal struggle of grappling with the past while striving for a brighter future.

This year alone, Santa Fe Klan has been taking over international music festivals with electrifying performances at SXSW in Austin, Texas, Tecate Pa’l Norte music festival in Monterrey, Mexico and made his Coachella mainstage debut with two back-to-back weekends.
