Are you interested in starting a podcast or becoming a streamer but are a bit unsure what mic to start with? Fret not my friends because I am here to help you. Not only do I have my personal experience but I also have audio tests available so you can decide for yourself. Queue the music, this is why I love my new mic: For starters with the Samson Q2U Recording and Podcasting pack, you don’t only get a mic you get a lot of essential items you’ll need to get started such as a windscreen, mic clip, desktop tripod, XLR cable, USB cable, and a carrying pouch. The XLR cable is used for a mixer if you have one since I don’t at the moment ill be using my USB cable for my laptop. The great thing about this mic is the number of applications that it can be used for music recording, podcasting, streaming, you name it and the sound quality is astonishing. Another great thing about this mic is the price, oh yeah, when you’re barely starting there can be a lot of uncertainty when it comes to purchasing equipment especially when it comes to price. Available on Amazon & Best Buy this mic cost me around $60, not bad at all for a mic under $100 easy on your wallet. I love this mic, I will be replacing the desktop tripod with a scissor arm suspension stand just so I can have it closer to my face rather than having to lean in towards the mic when I talk, also, it doesn’t pick up a lot of background noise too so that’s a plus. On a scale from 1-10, I definitely rank this mic at a solid 10. If you’d like to hear my mic sound tests for comparison you can check out my video on youtube.
