With the popularity of Japanese culture showcased on social media, many people are wanting to explore of the country but from home. I consumed hours a week of watching other people try out items they find at stores in Japan. I always wondered if there is a way for myself to enjoy a piece of Japanese culture from the comfort of my home. When there is a will, there will be a way. Sakuraco is a monthly authentic Japanese snack subscription box that supports local Japanese snack makers, each box comes with 20 traditional, authentic, and artisan Japanese snacks including Japanese teas and special Japanese tableware.
I was able to get a review box from Sakuraco to see what is inside the subscription box. What we saw was something you would see out of a movie. I felt that a piece of Japan was sent to me through the eyes and depths of Sakuraco with their high valued food items and artisans. I was able to do an unboxing below to show what I was able to witness.
In the subscription box, there is a booklet that featured information straight from the people and businesses who helped curated this box. I learned about the history of each of item and felt much closer on enjoying the value that is provided from those stories I was shocked on how each item are part of Japan’s history and curated to the fact that brings Japan to you; the consumer! Thoroughly, I enjoyed the taste of the food, especially the sweet ones, that gave my taste buds the ability to see the stars. I was shocked on how well done each item is and how my taste buds reacted to them.
