Saint Joshua new single Nasty is out now

Known for his soulful lyrics and dynamic vocal prowess, he offers a deeply personal and eclectic sound that promises to resonate with audiences across the globe. Saint’s music is a seamless blend of genres, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, including Usher, Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder, and Amy Winehouse. 

 

The debut 9 track mixtape is a strong long form offering, straddling both R&B and Pop at the same time. Produced by a number of different longtime collaborators and co-writers including Cashybear (Songer, Callum Beatie), Pears Macintyre and Jack Ducker (Warners) and Geth, Edbl and Blair Mackichan (Sia). Having already given birth to recent more pop driven singles Blah Blah Blah, Do U Ever Call and the Sweet Talk, which have gained huge national radio support from Radio 1, 1Xtra and Apple Music, Nasty has a more deeper R&B filled undertone to it. Further songs include Harmony filled Waterfalls and Blessing and vibe driven Next flight to Paris.

Having amassed over 14.5 million streams, Saint is generating undeniable momentum, earning the attention of industry tastemakers who have recognized his unique vibe. This attention has translated into prime placements that have thrust him into the mainstream music scene, establishing him as one of the most promising new artists to watch. With three successful EPs and many singles including Palo Santo, Saint has gained heavy radio rotation from Radio 1 and Apple Music along with features from Wonderland, Clash, Rollacoaster, Man About Town and recently Earmilk, plus Complex Magazine included him their UK R&B ones to watch for 2023. 

 

A testament to his growing popularity is with his live performances which have led to a sold-out debut London show in 2023 and UK headline tour Feb this year 2024 and most recently playing BBC Introducing Futuretense show (19th Sep) and a London Fashion Week show with Fame Magazine (16th Sep). Slots at some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals have followed including Latitude, The Great Escape, Dot2Dot, and Live At Leeds. He played his first show in LA in May this year and plays an EU tour mid Jan 2025 (Amsterdam and Paris) with further shows and festivals in 2025. 

 

As Saint Joshua prepares to release, Self-(En)titled, ‘Nasty’ serves as another bold introduction to a Mixtape that promises to be one of his most personal and accomplished works to date.
