RYAN CASTRO SELLS OUT HOMECOMING SHOW AT LA MACARENA IN MEDELLIN

Medellín, Colombia (October 17, 2024) – Colombian urban sensation Ryan Castro has officially SOLD OUT his highly anticipated homecoming concert at La Macarena on October 18th, one of Medellín’s most coveted arenas and considered a stepping stone for an artists’ career. This marks another massive achievement for the artist, following his sold-out performance at the Movistar Arena in Bogotá in September.

The sold-out concert in Medellín also serves as a launchpad for his upcoming U.S. tour, “¡Ay Bendito Ghetto!”, co-headlined with fellow Colombian artist Blessd. The tour kicks off on October 31, 2024, in San Jose, CA, bringing Ryan Castro’s electrifying performances to major cities across the U.S., before wrapping up on December 1, 2024, in Atlanta, GA. Castro, celebrated for his vibrant fusion of Colombian rhythms and global urban sounds, has quickly risen to global stardom with classic hits like “Jordan,” and “Wasa Wasa,” in addition to his most recent releases, “Fan De Su Relación” with Maisak“A Poca Luz” with Hamiltonand “El Ritmo Que Nos Une, the official song for Colombia’s National soccer team for Copa America 2024. His unique sound blends reggaeton, Hip-hop, and Caribbean influences, reflecting the cultural richness of his Colombian roots. RYAN CASTRO, dubbed as “El Cantante Del Ghetto” is an artist who has become the definition of overcoming challenges since his upbringing in the Pedregal neighborhood of Medellín, Colombia, where he would rap in public buses in order to help his family economically. Ryan Castro made his break in the music industry with his single “Morena” in 2017, followed by catapulting to international fame in 2021 with his hit single, “Mujeriego,” and later “Jordan,” which both entered the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts in addition to placing on Spotify’s Top 50 Global for several weeks.
