SAN DIEGO — July 31, 2024 — Roots of Pacha, the co-op farming & life simulation game set in the Stone Age developed by Soda Den, expands its community of more than 200,000 players with an Xbox One and Series X|S edition launching today alongside the free version 1.2 update on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 & 5.
Lead the Pachan clan and their neighbors into an age of peace and calm coexistence. Alter humanity’s trajectory with new ideas and inventions like animal taming and cold storage, and carve a path of progress unlike any that came before. Roots of Pacha comes complete with full feature parity and crossplay support between all platforms of the game – including the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions launching today.
New to version 1.2, raise children to begin attending school. Pachan kids will hang out with one another, develop personalities, and discover the future professions that interest them. Children’s different combinations of parents, personality quirks, and prospective professions help unearth earnable gifts and distinct dialog.
Personalize the protagonist with brand new skin tones and hair colors to establish more unique villager identities. Invent unknown technologies from new Ideas to provide time-saving tools like the olla watering pot. Tame mammoths, spiders, cave lions, wolves, and more as new mount options — play fetch with them and obtain valuable resources like herbs and meat.
“Beyond adding content, we wanted to continue to improve the player’s quality of life alongside the Pachans,” said Timothy Dadone Nasello, Co-Founder of Soda Den. “To welcome Xbox players with a smooth introduction to the multiplatform Pachan clan, this update introduces many improvements like UI-free screenshots, new sorting methods, faster resource processing methods, and a lot more.”
Roots of Pacha launches today on Xbox One and Series X|S for $24.99 / €24.99 / £20.99 with support for English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese – Brazil, Russian, Simplified Traditional Chinese, Spanish, and as of Version 1.2 offers full support for Korean and Traditional Chinese languages.
Roots of Pacha’s version 1.2 update also arrives today on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox as a free update! Those playing Roots of Pacha on Xbox One and Series X|S will enjoy full feature parity and crossplay co-op support with the more than 200,000 Stone Age civilization builders on other platforms.
