As a gamer, I have heard of RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise. I’m pretty much a noob towards Rollercoaster Tycoon as I never tried it before. I should have tried it in the past but never had the opportunity to play the game. With Rollercoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe coming out for the Nintendo Switch, I decided to FINALLY try it out haha.
We were able to get a review copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe for our Nintendo Switch. I was able to do an unboxing video to show our readers how the case looks like and more. When I first put the card into my Nintendo Switch, the game did need an update prior to playing. The update went rather quickly which wasn’t too bad. I was able to do the tutorial and learn a lot about the mechanics of running your own park. I was a bit shocked on how fun the game is and the creativity that you can do for your rollercoasters!
Our Thoughts
Pro:
- Design Rides
- Ok, I never thought designing a rollercoaster could be so much fun. I had never dreamed of creating something where it would make people so happy. The creations did take time as I didn’t want the people riding the rollercoasters to get sick or be unhappy. I wanted to make sure they had fun as well as wanted to ride them again.
- Simple and Fun
- Rollercoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe is pretty fun. The game is simple once you master the mechanics and understanding of running a park. You realize there are so much detail needed to keep people happy and wanting to come out to your park daily. I did open up my head on these mechanics, but it was fun. I enjoyed it!
Con:
- A lot to do
- I didn’t realize there is so much to do to run a park and keep people happy. I was thinking a few rides here and there would keep them coming for years, but I was wrong. I have to be creative and innovative for my park in order to make sure people continue to come. I was a bit shocked on this and took some time to make sure my park was in tip top shape.
