Austin, Texas — August 6, 2024 — South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals announced today that registration and hotel bookings are open for the 2025 event, which takes place March 7–15 in Austin. Enhancements for next March include expanded benefits for the top tier attendee offering, the Platinum Badge. New for 2025, Platinum badgeholders will have improved access to select Keynotes and Featured Sessions, Primary Access to select brand experiences, and early access to SXXpress Pass (front of the line passes for sessions, showcases, and screenings). Platinum badgeholders can also expect added perks such as expedited badge pick-up, Platinum-only lounges, and merchandise discounts.
Film & TV Festival Submissions
The acclaimed SXSW Film & TV Festival provides the game-changing buzz every filmmaker dreams about for the premiere of their feature film, short, TV, or XR project. From daring documentaries to groundbreaking narratives, there is a screening category for every project. First Deadline is August 27. Final Deadline is October 2.
The SXSW Music Festival brings together emerging acts, established artists, and industry professionals from around the world. Seize the opportunity to make connections and perform in one of Austin’s famous venues for an international audience. Regular Entry is open and runs through August 31. Late Entry will take place from September 1 to October 31.

The SXSW Innovation Awards recognize the most exciting creative developments and cutting-edge technological achievements in the connected world. Five finalists in each category will be chosen to exhibit their projects at the 7th annual Innovation Awards Finalist Showcase during SXSW.
