Ready or Not Quick Blu-Ray Review

Ready or Not a story of a deadly game of hide and seek. The new bride of the Le Domas family is in for a wedding night to remember. Grace (Samara Weaving) just married into a family with some dark and twisted roots into the occult. Grace is feeling like she is not worthy of entering into the family. Groom Alex (Mark O’Brien) tells his bride she free to leave if she wants but Grace tells him she’s all in. Finally alone in their room an uneasy groom with an eager bride to start the wedding night is interrupted but the aunt in the room uninvited. To the shock of the Grace, they are told they are wanted in the music room. They are met by the whole family for there ritual game night with the new family member a deep-rooted tradition. The brided must pick a card and will be told what game they must play from many games the family business has put out. Grace’s luck she picked the one game that is played for life or death. Hide and seek a simple children’s game played to the death of grace. We enter the game with Grace not knowing her life is at stake.

Overall the film as a horror fan worked for me with some gory filled kills and a deep occult back story. Grace in the style of any final girl she fights back for her life. This is a must-see for any horror fan with great cinematography. Give the film a proper feel. Out now one digital and Blu-Ray 12/03.
