We were able to get a digital review code for Predator: Hunting Grounds for the Xbox Series S console. I was able to download the game the game with quite ease to my console. Once it was downloaded, I did the tutorial first. I wanted to make sure I knew what I’m doing in the game. After the tutorial, I started off a multiplayer game. I was a soldier in the first game with my squad and we made sure to complete tasks that were given to us.
While in the game, we had a nasty Predator that would attack here and there while we were accomplishing tasks. I was a bit nervous while looking around for that invincible Predator and he did get us. I was surprised during that attack, yet had so much fun fighting him off. After that game and dying of course, I was sent back to main menu. I was a bit weirded out on that but did the steps to go back to another multiplayer game. This happened again after that game, so I thought it was a bit weird though. Either way, Predator: Hunting Grounds is a fun game to play with friends.
Gameplay
Pro:
- Complete Missions
- You can complete missions such as setting off bombs, collecting intel, and much more when your in multiplayer. You also while doing this avoid the hunting Predator and there are times where you can kill the Predator and bring him back to base. I enjoy this as we can also collect additional bullets and much more.
- Either as Predator or Soldier
- You can play either as Predator or a soldier that in the game. I make sure to update my custom loads to the max to make sure during gameplay its at its best. I prefer to play as a Soldier as its a challenge to destroy a Predator during a game.
Con:
- No Automatic Multiplayer
- What I mean here is that after you do a multiplayer match, it takes you back to the main menu. I would like to continue to play in multiplayer matches and I thought this was a bit weird. I never played a game where you play once and then goes back to main menu.
