About Reynaldos De La Sierra:
Hailing from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Reynaldos De La Sierra, is a sierreño legacy band formed by members Jesús Reynaldo, Kevin Arrieta and Omar Rodriguez. Reynaldos De La Sierra kicked off their musical journey in the year 2000 founded by Jesús Reynaldo’s father, Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada, with a strong foundation rooted in family tradition. Boasting a repertoire of over 55 albums, Reynaldos De La Sierra remains a symbol of musical talent and familial pride.

After acquiring massive success as a member of Reynaldos De La Sierra, founder Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada created “Reynalditos De La Sierra,” a spinoff of his already successful band. Formed by his twin sons, Jose Reynaldo and Jesús Reynaldo, alongside nephew Kevin Arrieta, “Reynalditos De La Sierra” released their first album at just eight years old, showcasing their early love for music. As they grew older and honed their craft, the group transitioned to performing under the name “Reynaldos De La Sierra,” reflecting their evolution into accomplished musicians.

Following the passing of his son Jose Reynaldo, Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada took a step back from music. After a period of reflection, Jose’s twin brother Jesús Reynaldo joined his father as a new member of Reynaldos De La Sierra at just 13 years old. With Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada (father) retiring as a member of Reynaldos De La Sierra in 2024, son Jesús Reynaldo went on to continue the band alongside previous “Reynalditos” member Kevin Arrieta and cousin Omar Rodriguez. Today, Jesús Reynaldo (first voice and accordion), Kevin Arrieta (electric bass and second voice) and Omar Rodriguez (guitar), are now continuing the legacy of Reynaldo Valenzuela Almada and Reynaldos De La Sierra, marking a new chapter in a 24-year trajectory.

Inspired by modern day stars like Peso Pluma and Tito Double P,  Reynaldos De La Sierra released a dynamic 11-track sierreño-belico cover album Somos Double P, paying homage to some of today’s most influential música Mexicana artists. As the group gears up to unveil a fresh, renovated sound that reflects the evolving musical landscape, they remain committed to preserving the rich heritage of sierreño music that has shaped their identity. Drawing inspiration from genres such as cumbia, huapango, ballads, dembow and corridos, the versatile group blends these diverse influences to craft a unique sound that pushes beyond traditional boundaries.

Signed to Prajin Parlay Inc. and Double P RecordsReynaldos De La Sierra are now joining a powerful lineup of artists that represent the sierreño genre within the ever-expanding landscape of música Mexicana, including contemporary luminary and fellow label artist Dareyes de la Sierra.
