ABOUT MORGAN ST. JEAN
The most glamorous women happen to be the toughest. The brighter they shine, the more attitude they exude. With unfiltered lyrics, jaw-dropping delivery, and head-turning style, Morgan St. Jean graces pop with a whole lot of glamor and grit. If Faye Dunaway’s Bonnie Parker grew up playing with Garage Band (instead of robbing banks), she might sound something like this. Capturing the essence of a toxic relationship, Morgan launched her music with an early composition, “Addicted,” which went viral on Soundcloud and HypeMachine. She then continued to hone her craft, drawing inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga, and Marilyn Monroe in equal measure. After generating 25 million-plus streams independently and fueling collaborations with Loud Luxury, Borgeous, and more, the singer, songwriter, and producer engages and empowers on her debut EP out in 2021 via W!ZARD Talent/Universal Music Group.
Morgan paved the way for her EP with her self-written single, “Lola” out now. Her robust delivery stomps past walls of synths and strings with edgy boldness, as if driving right off Mulholland full speed. It all culminates on the spunky post-chorus, “Oh my man is smitten feeling sweet like cola. Busy in the city with a bitch named Lola.”
