Crafted in a whimsical, hand-drawn art-style, Plebby Quest is a turn-based strategy game based in Europe and the Middle-East during the age of crusaders. Players must survive between ambitious rulers dreaming of building an empire, treacherous neighbours that longs to burn your kingdom, and religious leaders insisting unreasonable demands. Ultimately, the goal is simple, survive long enough to build a legacy to last the ages.
At launch, the game features two game modes, Scenario and Sandbox, three unique campaigns, numerous minigames, and a dynamic decision-making system affecting current and future playthroughs. What’s more, the combat system incorporates 40 troop types and 100 Generals, all packed full of personality and parody, and ready for your command.
“Plebby Quest is the culmination of more than 9 years of development, and an unwavering commitment to recognizing a childhood dream,” said Jumyeong Kim, game director at PiedPipers Team. “Today, I share my dream with the world, and hope they enjoy what we’ve created.”
During development, Plebby Quest has received accolades for its game design and whimsical art style, including ‘Finalist’ at the Independent Games Festival China (2012), and ‘Best of Game Design’ at Busan Indie Connect (2015), among others.
