PESO PLUMA TAKES THE STAGE AT THE IHEARTRADIO MUSIC AWARDS ALONGSIDE GLORILLA TO PRESENT MUSIC ICONS TLC – HE ALSO NABBED FOUR AWARDS

Los Angeles, CA (April 1, 2024) – International music sensation Peso Pluma made his iHeartRadio Music Awards debut today at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California where he was a presenter for the first time alongside American rapper GloRilla to present music legends TLC. Earlier in the evening on the red carpet, Peso Pluma received four awards taking home the trophy for Regional Mexican Artist Of The Year, Regional Mexican Song Of The Year “Ella Baila Sola”, Best New Artist (Regional Mexican) and Regional Mexican Album Of The Year “Génesis.”

The fashion icon sported an all black look wearing a two piece Alexander Wang leather ensemble paired with Bottega Venetta shoes and topped off with black Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster sunglasses.

This past weekend, Peso Pluma delivered an iconic headlining set inclusive of one hour and forty five minutes of his chart-topping hits at the Tecate Pal Norte Festival in Monterrey, Mexico where he extended his set time an extra forty minutes after Kendrick Lamar dropped out minutes before he took the stage. Captivating an audience of over 100,000 fans, Peso ignited the main stage in a red Prada two-piece matching set and Alexander McQueen boots, donning a Balenciaga balaclava – his iconic look.

Beginning with “El Gavilan,” “El Gavilan II,” “Zapata,” “Nueva Vida,” “Belicón,” and “Siempre Pendientes,” Peso had the crowd fully immersed and singing every song. During “Rosa Pastel” and “Lagunas,” Peso presented his first special guest and Double P Records artist Jasiel Nunez to accompany him during both Billboard Hot 100 songs. Special guest Neton Vega joined Peso on stage for “Rubicon,” and he then went on to sing “Rompe la Dompe” for the first time. He continued with Reggaeton hits “Quema” and “La Bebe (Remix)” where he brought out special guest Yng Lvcas. Prior to returning to the stage for “NO SON KLLE,” added to his show for the first time, Peso made a quick outfit change into a Prada vest and shorts paired with Prada loafers. The enigmatic show continued with “BZRP Music Session #55,” “AMG,” “PRC,” and “Lady Gaga” and ended with a bang with the last special guests of the evening including Tito Double P for “La People” and Tito Double P and Joel De La P for his most recent chart-topper “La People II.”

On Saturday night, Peso made a surprise appearance during Anitta’s headlining set, including a birthday cake, to wish the queen of Brazil a happy birthday and congratulate her on her first show in Mexico, which erupted the crowd.
