July 22, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) – This past weekend, chart-topping sensation Peso Pluma kicked off his highly anticipated “ÉXODO” Tour, presented by Corona, with three electrifying SOLD OUT shows in Austin, Dallas and Edinburgh, Texas amassing thousands of fans during the first weekend. Featuring an epic custom built center stage, the all-new show, inclusive of hundreds of pyrotechnics, LED lights, narration by Pedro Alonso (aka “Berlin” from Money Heist), 16 dancers and an eight piece live band, plus several surprise guests during opening weekend including Kenia Os, Jasiel Nuñez, Tito Double P and Estevan Plazola.
Opening the show with theatrical music and narration by Alonso, Peso who is still recovering from his injury delivered a legendary performance, diving straight into powerful corridos “La Patrulla,” “La Durango” and “Me Activo,” with first surprise guest and Double P artist Jasiel Nuñez. Donning his iconic face mask (a custom created by Chris Habana) decked out in crystals, Peso enters the arena through center stage on a throne full of charisma and high energy. The king of corridos continued the show with “AMG,” “Rubicon,” “Siempre Pendientes,” “Ice,” and “14-14,” rounding out the first act.
A one-of-a-kind floating moon that makes its way through the arenas joins Peso for the beautiful “Luna,” followed by “Lagunas” alongside Jasiel Nuñez, “Por Las Noches,” and new tracks fresh of his recent album “ÉXODO” – “Reloj” and “Santal 33.” Bringing the second act to a conclusion, Peso ends with Rolling Stone’s number one song of 2023 and a fan favorite, “Ella Baila Sola.”
After leaving fans speechless with his unique urban entrance at Coachella, Peso returns with another incredible segway to kick off act three, starting with new track “Mala” and followed by “Quema,””Qlona,” and “La Bebe (Remix).” Guests in Dallas enjoyed a special performance of “Tommy & Pamela” with surprise guest Kenia Os, where the duo performed their hit single live together for the first time after releasing the official music video just a few days ago. He continued with “Put Em In The Fridge” and “Plebada.”
For the first time, Peso Pluma opened up the fourth act playing an acoustic guitar as an opener to “Nueva Vida” and performing a special tribute to corridos legend Ariel Camacho with “Los Talibanes Del Prieto.” Then, joining him on stage for his first major concert appearance was Estavan Plazola during their first live performance of “Hollywood.” Jasiel Nuñez returned for “Rosa Pastel” before returning to hit corridos “PRC” and “El Gavilan.” Double P artist and Peso’s cousin Tito Double P arrived to join Peso for “Gavilan II” which included a special violin opening. Continuing with “La People” and “La People II,” Tito and Peso lit up the stage while performing on a custom table and throne on center stage. Peso continued with “Zapata,” “El Azul,” and Tito Double P returned one more time for “Belanova.” Original violin’s returned for fan favorite “Lady Gaga” which he performed for the first time at the 2023 MTV VMA’s, and “Vino Tinto.” Closing out the epic show, Peso got the crowd pumping with electronic dance track “Teka.”
