Party Animals’ Free Demo Reaches 135K Concurrent Players

Adorable multiplayer party brawler became most wishlisted game on Steam

October 15th, 2020 – Recreate Games’ comically cute competitive brawler Party Animals made waves on Steam this weekend with its free demo clocking up an impressive 135,000 concurrent players. This placed it at No.4 for most concurrent players played on Steam, having previously ranked No.1 in Trending/Most Wishlisted/Most Downloaded and Playing Now categories in the latest Steam Game Festival!

The demo gave players a wide variety of cute characters to choose from including puppies, kittens, ducks, bunnies, sharks, dinosaurs and even unicorns to wrestle, punch, throw, tussle and flop about in a cataclysm of hilarious physics-based fun.

“The latest Party Animals demo has far exceeded even our best expectations for the second time around,” said Andy Jianyi, Product Manager for Recreate Games. “Reaching over 135,000 concurrent players means that we are now looking to add more resources to our internal development team and we are actively recruiting to prepare for the full release version of Party Animals.” Added Andy Jianyi.

Party Animals will feature a variety of game modes in local and online multiplayer at launch, including free-for-all skirmishes and objective-based gameplay. If all-out lollipop warfare between a cute dinosaur and a fluffy shark, or puppies and kittens wrestling over giant jelly candies, is your thing, be sure to wish list the game on Steam here:
