Hailing from Mumbai, Electro-Pop artist OAFF shares his new single ‘Heavy Headed’ February 21st, featuring up and coming artist Kayan.a. Bridging the gap between ambient electronic beats with mainstream pop songwriting, OAFF has already received support from Spotify, being added to editorial playlists such as ‘Chill Vibes’ garnering over 1 million streams.
Having been influenced by an eclectic blend of music growing up, it was no surprise that OAFF composed music for a wide spectrum of projects. Having produced music for several films, series and documentaries, his work also includes the soundtrack for the official Olympics channel, H&M, Airbnb and the title theme for the International Emmy nominated Amazon Prime show ‘Inside Edge’.
OAFF’s music is an amalgamation of cinematic and atmospheric synths combined with orchestral elements and ambient guitar textures. As of late, he has started working with vocalists from all over India to collaborate for the release of his debut album.
When speaking on the release, OAFF stated: Over the course of this year, I have been listening to a lot of ambient electronic music while being equally fascinated by the craft of pop song writing. This tracks on this release are an amalgamation of these influences and ideas.
OAFF will release ‘Heavy Headed’ February 21st on all streaming platforms. With his debut album ‘Feeling Is Thinking’ set to release later this year, he’s definitely one to keep an eye on.
