Regional Mexican music’s first boyband, Nuevo Elemento, makes it clear that love at first sight can create a lasting relationship with their new song “Un Amor Bonito.” This single is available now on all digital streaming platforms and the official video can be enjoyed via their YouTube channel.
Written by Adrián Navarro and Bruno Danzza, who have composed songs for many of the genre’s top artists, “Un Amor Bonito” is a blend of banda and Sierreño music, perfect for slow dancing with a special someone. Its lyrics in Spanish speak of “a beautiful love that would last forever, I just saw you and I am already scared to lose you.”
The lead vocalist of this song is Héctor Osobampo, while Nuevo Elemento’s newest member, Alejandro “Bebo” Garfías, takes the lead on phrases of the chorus. The other members, Danny Rea and Yahir “Choco” Garduño, also lend their voices to this lovely showcase of their harmonies.
Filmed by the director Gerardo Mantecón in Los Angeles, the official video shows the sharply dressed guys using their singing and poetic lyrics to win over the woman who has stolen their heart.
“Un Amor Bonito” follows on the heels of the group’s single “Cómo Pude Estar Tan Ciego,” their cover of the 2003 Banda El Recodo hit. The first two original singles by the group are the lovely ranchera ballad “Mía,” which surpassed 1.2 million YouTube views, and “No Andes Con Nadie.” This track reached the Top 35 of the Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart and earned the group two nominations at the 2021 Premios Juventud.
All four of these songs will be included on the group’s debut EP 4 Sueños 1 Realidad, to be released in November, one year after the group’s formation.
Nuevo Elemento performed on September 12 in Los Angeles and Ontario, California, as part of Estrella Media’s Fiestas Patrias Festival for Mexican Independence Day. The all-star musical lineup also included Joss Favela, Banda Los Recoditos, Edith Márquez, Luis Coronel, and Río Roma among others.
Stacked with talent, Nuevo Elemento promises to dazzle Regional Mexican fans in the months and years to come. While the guys come from different regions, they are united by their passion for music.
