Not For Broadcast Goes Live with Final DLC “The Timeloop” and Complete Edition on PlayStation, Xbox, PC Today

SEATTLE — August 29, 2024 — Not For Broadcast: Complete Edition, the multi-award winning, chaotic television news propaganda sim from developer NotGames and publisher tinyBuild, hits the record button on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam today. The final chapter of the FMV game also drops today in the brand new The Timeloop DLC.

Mic up the cast, point the cameras in the right direction, and start bringing out guests for the show of a lifetime in Not For Broadcast: Complete Edition. Take charge in the studio filming the ‘National Nightly News’, cutting at precisely the right moments to avoid scandals and make advertisers happy with a show that has viewership skyrocketing.

Finetune every piece of news story and headline, as each decision will deeply affect the future of a nation. With multiple branching narratives and 14 endings, the power to shape what happens next is in your hands: break the law to help a family member, start a revolution, or sweep a scandal under the rug. Above all, manipulate the newscast in whatever way necessary to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Join the crew of an incredibly beloved news team, with a quirky cast of characters raring to put on thrilling performances and take on compelling interviews in the Complete Edition. This comprehensive package features the series’ previously released DLCs Live & Spooky and Bits of Your Life, as well as the never-before-seen final chapter, The Timeloop.

Featuring brand new mechanics, footage live on stage, and the longest song in FMV history, The Timeloop DLC marks the return of fan-favorite characters from the original game. Join  Crazy Neil, Geoff Algebra, and Helana Boatshow, now stuck in a never-ending timeloop for a final hurrah.

“There’s no shortage of gratefulness for the love Not For Broadcast has seen over the years,” said Jay Orbaum, Director at NotGames. “To celebrate this love, we packaged all the previous thought-provoking content with an even wackier DLC so players can say goodbye by hitting the red button to go ‘LIVE’ one final time!”

Not For Broadcast: Complete Edition is available on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam today for $39.99 USD. The Timeloop DLC is also available for purchase today separately for $8.99 USD. The game features English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese language support.

About NotGames

NotGames is a British game studio that opened its doors in 2013 to attempt to save the charity that brought us all together. Coming from a bizarre background of film, TV, theatre, and comedy, NotGames aren’t your usual game developers. If you’re asking, we’d like to call ourselves ‘multi-talented all-rounders’, while our former employers would probably say we’re ‘unfocussed and easily distracted’.

Exhausted after the runaway success of the cult-classic NotTheNameWeWanted and the subsequent stillbirth of NotCoD (we don’t like to talk about it), we took some time out to contemplate our navels in a dark room.

In 2017, we decided to get the band back together, with NotGames 2.0 combining satire, social commentary, and original gameplay into the dystopian wonderland of Not For Broadcast.
