I was able to sit down on my desk to bask in this new song from Julia Pauletti. I felt like I was transported to another place that didn’t resemble my desk but something cooler and calmer while listening to the song. I’ll Pretend is the title to the song but I have to say…I can’t pretend in this review… this song is pretty dang cool! With the piano being played calming throughout the song, Julia opens up to the world through her words. I felt so engulfed by the stories Julia shared in her song.

As a fan of music, you are drawn to an image of what a song should be. You feel the song is the arch that takes you through to a journey, yet this song rewrites those rules. Julia Pauletti showcases a work of art that is slowly painted to bring an image of something your not accustomed. This image is something that many of us forget in life today and that is desire.
