My Beautiful Paper Smile Creeps Out From Early Access

Pencil in some dread, suspense and a spoonful of terror

Oceanside, Calif. – October 14th, 2021 –  Surreal hand drawn atmospheric chiller My Beautiful Paper Smile has released out of Steam Early Access after spending a year in development. Developed by Two Star Games (Choo-Choo CharlesMy Friend is a Raven) and published by V Publishing (Black Geyser), the full 1.0 release of MBPS reveals the final chapter of the story following the Joyous with a trepidation filled conclusion to the game.

Set in a dread-filled dystopian world, My Beautiful Paper Smile combines effective storytelling with palpable suspense. The game builds not only on its main story but reveals mysterious questions about the world itself through its environmental detail and character design. My Beautiful Paper Smile of course would be nothing without its striking art style. Everything in the game world is hand-drawn with pencils allowing the game to combine an alternative art design with a minimalist approach to sound design to effect a unique atmosphere.

It’s not all world building and story, the game provides a creative blend of genres that grabs your attention and can switch from fighting giant spider monsters to hiding from the authorities and a gruesome end. The diverse gameplay provides an engaging ride through one of the most stand out indie titles this year.

An official Tiny Teams selection, My Beautiful Paper Smile is available now on Steam for $14.99 USD/£14.99 GBP, with a 25% discount during the upcoming  Steam Halloween Sale. My Beautiful Paper Smile is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
