Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is a different take of the Mortal Kombat lore through a different Realm. The Realm is in an apocalyptic Earth that is ruled by Kano and his Black Dragons. He and his Black Dragons terrorize the local colonies in the area and of course crush anyone in their path. We meet a new hero named Kenshi that is trying to be a great warrior but needs that extra step to get there. While Kenshi is trying to find himself, we are literally gleaming with joy as we see past hero or two that will help Kenshi to stop Kano and his Black Dragons.

We were able to get a copy of the Blu Ray edition to check out the movie! I enjoyed watching the movie as it gave a different story to the Mortal Kombat lore. The different story is pretty good and entertaining! I digged this feature and recommend y’all to check it out too!

• Story
  • The movie is based in another realm where Kano and the Black Dragons are in charge and want to break into Earth Realm. They run this apocalyptic Earth realm with their own mercenaries. A fighter by the name of Kenshi wants to make a name for himself and is pretty good at kicking butt. He meets his match with The Black Dragons and is nearly destroyed before Shang Tsung gets involved. The story is pretty good and gets wild at each turn! I enjoyed the story in the movie as it gave it a fresh take at where our Mortal Kombat heroes and villains could be doing in an alternate Realm.
• Gore
  • The gore in this movie is just fantastic! You see limbs being torn off, heads smashed in and much more! The artists did a great job showcasing the inside of the body of these fighters in the movie. When Kano pulled the head and spine out of Shang Tsung after their battle, the attention to detail was unreal!
• Scorpion
  • We learn in this movie that Kuai Lang is Sub Zero which later on brings Scorpion into the picture. While the times are rough, Scorpion comes to Sub Zero and together with Kenshi, they go after Kano and the Black Dragon! This is so cool cause growing up with the Mortal Kombat games, I enjoyed playing as either Sub Zero or Scorpion. During the movie, just seeing them kick ass is just an understatement! I was in the zone watching them tear it up!
