Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms kicks ass! Yes, you heard me say! It kicks ass! From beginning to end, this movie will give you the whole Mortal Kombat experience. You will see the gore, you will see the story, and then you will be captivated by their experiences.

I did a quick review below but I have to say, as a fan of Mortal Kombat, you need to watch this movie. This is entertainment at its finest and will have you wanting to do a fatality to your favorite couch cushion.

Pro:

• Manga Style
  • I’m not a big fan of manga used in movies but in this case, it was used perfectly. The emotional carnage shown by the characters breathed life into the movie. I enjoyed how it wasn’t too fast paced but enough to strike fear that they may not able to to make it through the tournament.
• Gorefest
  • What’s not to love with an old fashion Mortal Kombat gorefest! Throughout the movie, we saw some cool moves from the kombatants that put the gore back into Gorefest baby! The best one is where Shang Tsung rips apart Kung Lao and then licks the blood off of him.
• Story
  • I enjoyed the story hard! You start off by seen Raiden save a young baby who in return becomes Liu Kang. Then, we see Shang Tsung bring his troops to a temple for a war only to be thwarted by another Mortal Kombat tournament by Raiden. Then, we get into Scorpion’s story as Shinnok wants to use him to awaken an older God to wreck havoc on the realms. From beginning to end, this story will have you hooked hard!
