British singer-songwriter Mike Petri makes his return with debut indie-pop EP ‘What If?’ November 15th.
Vulnerable and utterly mesmerising, Mike’s raw and relatable lyrics have captivated our ears and hearts since bursting onto the scene back in 2018 with the release of ‘Come Back To Me’. Since then, Mike has garnered thousands of streams across streaming platforms and built on his ever-growing fan base.
When asked about the EP, Mike stated: “I wanted this EP to show my ability to write in more than one style. I wanted to show the listener that they are moving between different sub genres of pop eliminating the feel of a monotonous vibe. I feel that there is a song for everybody in this EP. I wanted the overall theme to be something that anyone can relate to hence why I chose to write about love and friendship. The inspiration behind the EP name is that I never want to live my life by thinking what would’ve happened if I followed that path. I never want to say, ‘What If’ I did this, I want to be able to just do it and give everything I’ve got.”
Mike Petri is often found performing to crowds in Edmonton, Canada, where he currently resides. Following the huge success of ‘Come Back to Me’, his eagerly anticipated debut EP is due for release November 15th on all streaming platforms.
