Marvel Rivals Xbox Series S Review

Marvel Rivals is a Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter! Assemble an all-star Marvel squad, devise countless strategies by combining powers to form unique Team-Up skills and fight in destructible, ever-changing battlefields across the continually evolving Marvel universe!

I was able to try Marvel Rivals for free on my Xbox Series S console. The download took a bit of time as it was nearly 50 GB in size for the game. Once downloaded, I start the game out and decided to do the tutorial first. I try to remind myself to do tutorials first so I can know more about the game and the controls for my character. As I finished the tutorial, I was able to jump into a game with my character The Punisher.

As a huge Punisher fan, I wanted to destroy those punie Marvel characters throughout each game. The special abilities were pretty cool as Punisher had some awesome weapons and a cool turret. Even though I played the Punisher, Marvel Rivals had a ton of Marvel characters to choose from in the game. They even had X-Men characters to use in the game. I didn’t use any of the X-Men characters but I made sure to destroy a wolverine here and there during the game haha. This is a very addicting and fun game to play with friends online.

My Thoughts

Pro:

  • Marvel Characters
    • I was able to use Marvel characters throughout the game and I’m not talking about the ones we all know about. There are nearly All Marvel characters from their history including The Punisher. I was able to use that character a lot throughout the game as his character provided the biggest boom!
  • Using Special Abilities
    • Utilizing a character’s special abilities was very fundamental throughout the game. I was able to have a huge turret for the Punisher character which I thought was unique and well informed.

Con:

None

Rating: 10 out of 10
