Maria Raquel y Sus Maravillas presents a new project that is 100% original and that at the same time evokes the music of other times, that of the merengue, salsa and cumbia orchestras, those with which Maria Raquel grew up and learned to dance in her native Medellín , Colombia. The music, the lyrics, the musicians who are part of the project and every detail, big and small, are something wonderful for her and her band, hence the name of María Raquel y sus Maravillas .
“El Tiempo is Finished” will be released on April 16, 2021 and with it Maria Raquel y sus Maravillas presents the first single from her next musical production that she is preparing to release in a few months. To the rhythm of the merengue of yesteryear, Maria Raquel shows the gaze of a mature and confident woman in the face of a sentimental breakup, an empowered woman who has decided that enough is enough. He sings of heartbreak and the courage to say: for your indecision “Time is over.”
