Maria Raquel y Sus Maravillas present a new project that is 100% original and, that at the same time, evokes the music of other times, that of the merengue, salsa and cumbia orchestras, with which Maria Raquel grew up and learned to dance in her native Medellín , Colombia. The music, the lyrics, the musicians who are part of the project and every detail of it, bigger and smaller, are something wonderful for her and her band, hence the name of Maria Raquel y sus Maravillas.
“El Tiempo Se Acabó” was released on April 16, 2021 and with it, Maria Raquel y sus Maravillas, will present the first single of her next musical production that she is preparing to release in a few months. To the beat of old time merengue, Maria Raquel shows the image of a mature and self-confident woman in the face of a sentimental break, an empowered woman who has decided that enough is enough. She sings about heartbreak and the courage to say: because of your indecisiveness “El Tiempo Se Acabó.”
