“We have heard some of you say that the bosses in Part 2 are quite challenging, but through trial and error have managed to defeat said bosses and witness the ending. Watching the players overcome our challenges has given us new energy.

“The immense satisfaction that our players have experienced as they defeat the final boss, we hope turns into ‘the power to move them forward’ in all aspects of their lives. This major update to the game is for all the players who want to clear every aspect of the world Fantasian has to offer.”

Major Content Update #1: “Void Realm”
After sacrificing herself to subdue the rampant “Light of God,” Yim’s heart was corrupted by the Void. Will Leo and company be able to defeat the powerful foes awaiting them at the Void Realm and redeem Yim’s heart from the Void?

• The Void Realm consists of three floors. Each floor represents one of the three major cities–Frontier Town of En, Vence, City of Water and the Vibra Royal Capital–the environments, which have been corrupted by the void.

• The player will touch the Void Crystals that appear on the field to initiate a battle with a random foe. Three Void Crystals will be positioned randomly within the field, and each crystal will initiate a random boss battle.

• After defeating three Void Crystals, Yim will be summoned out of the final giant Void Crystal.

• Yim of the Void Realm is extremely powerful. You must utilize all of the weapons, equipment and tactics you have acquired on your journey thus far to defeat the Void corrupting Yim’s heart.

Fantasian is an exciting, new RPG set against a spectacular backdrop made from nearly 160 handmade dioramas that blends physical environments and 3D characters.

Players take control of Leo as he wakes up in an unfamiliar surrounding with only one memory upon which to rely. He traverses the world and different realms trying to unravel the mystery behind the Mecha Infestation that has invaded the human world, eventually bringing him to the realm of the gods.

The captivating story is written by Sakaguchi and is complimented by a sweeping soundtrack by celebrated Final Fantasy composer, Nobuo Uematsu. Link to assets here.

Part 2 Update:
Part 2 of Fantasian’s adventure has been added to the game. The latter half features a more quest-driven style of gameplay that can take anywhere between 40 to 60 hours for players to experience

Furthermore, the characters’ Growth Map and ability to swap Party members in and out of battle have added new dimensions to the battle experience.

The approximately 50 original dioramas and 34 Nobuo Uematsu tracks featured in Part 2 will expand the Fantasian experience to new heights.

● Dive into the Dioramas

Explore the nearly 160 different hand-crafted dioramas in Fantasian, with particular attention to detail. The adventure lasts between 60~90 hours with the first part more focused on story and the latter half more quest-driven, giving players the freedom to explore the world.

● New Battle Mechanics

Tapping into his experience from the Final Fantasy franchise, Sakaguchi brings to Fantasian several quality of life improvements to the classic JRPG genre, such as the “Dimengeon Battle” mechanic, which allows players to send previously encountered enemies into a separate dimensional dungeon to streamline combat and maximize uninterrupted exploration of the beautiful locations.

“Dimengeon Battles” introduce various “Gimmicks” or power-ups that can turn the tide of battle for a satisfying encounter.

Likewise, the Growth Map gives players various customization options and party members can be swapped in and out for even more diverse strategic options.

● Legendary Soundtrack

Celebrated composer Nobuo Uematsu, known for his work on the Final Fantasy series, scored all 60 tracks. The many layers of a full orchestra and diverse synth melodies compliment the memorable and magical world of Fantasian.
