MIAMI, FL (February 20, 2025) – Rising star Majo Aguilar has taken home her first award for Mexican Music – Female Artist Of The Year at the 37th Annual Premio Lo Nuestro Awards. This milestone is the result of immense work, effort  and dedication, and Majo is deeply grateful for her fans and colleagues, who have supported her throughout her journey and played a crucial role in this achievement. Since the award is based on fan votes, she considers this a shared triumph, one for both her and the fans who have believed in her every step of the way. In addition to her win, Majo took center stage as a presenter for the Pop Song of the Year alongside Gente De Zona, further showcasing her versatility as an artist and her growing presence within the Latin music community.

It’s my first award, and it’s very much all of ours,” says Majo Aguilar. “I’m very grateful, to the music, to the mariachi, and mainly to all of you who have followed my journey, who have supported me with so much love, who have reciprocated this love I’ve given you with all my soul through my voice and my songs.” 

Majo Aguilar is an acclaimed singer-songwriter from one of Mexico’s most renowned musical families. With four Latin GRAMMY nominations, she is quickly becoming one of the most influential voices in música Mexicana. Her upcoming album fuses mariachi and corrido tumbado sounds, cementing her as a female pioneer of the movement. Majo has already released “Aún Así Te Vas,” “Quise Algo Bien,” “El Beso” and “Si Tú No Vuelves” as the first four tracks from the album, and will return to the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City on June 7 for a tribute to música Mexicana. With her unique voice and fearless artistry, she continues to inspire audiences across generations.
