“The group’s indie-electronic sound will transport you to a dream-like place you’ve never been before.” – Euphoria

Made up of three brothers from Canterbury, lotusbliss is a uniquely DIY indie band that focus on an ambient, yet sleek musical delivery. Thunder in the Room is the last single from the band before their explosive, tightly executed EP released early April and aptly named Bittersweet. The EP is made up of a plethora of emotionally aware tunes that ooze an uncertainty from the band, “anger, nostalgia and forgiveness sit together side by side”.

Managing to deliver moody, elongated fills alongside unexpected groove-infused melodies, lotusbliss refined their sound in preparation for the 2019 debut. Now, the band have racked up over 80k streams on Spotify alone and are predominantly known for singles The Horror and Carpet. Each release with intricate stories behind them, lotusbliss are confident on their musical direction and have build a solid following along the way.

“There is an inherent duality to what we hold as true within our minds” – lotusbliss

As a band that embraces the innate talents within the group, lotusbliss enjoy playing with creative approaches to their press shots, artwork and even their self-directed and produced videos. The new EP from lotusbliss challenges and directly questions a failing system. They recognise life’s dualities, its simultaneous, erratic moments of good and bad, both bitter and sweet.
