LOS ANGELES AZULES ANNOUNCES THE FIRST DATES OF THEIR 40 YEARS TOUR IN THE UNITED STATES

After more than a year without offering live concerts,  Los Ángeles Azules today announce their long-awaited return to the stage with the  “40 Years Tour” tour.  With more than 25 concerts around the United States, and more to be announced, the  40 Years Tour  will begin at the end of August in Corpus Christi, TX and will tour the cities of Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, among many others. celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the iconic group.
Uniting the flavors and sounds of Mexico in the United States, Gran Centenario Tequila will be part of the celebration in the cities of Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, Ontario, and San Diego.
Tickets will be on sale starting Friday, April 23 at 10am local time at  www.ticketmaster.com  and at  losangelesazules.com.mx

Originally from Iztapalapa, Los Ángeles Azules are the greatest exponents of cumbia worldwide, taking their music to the most important international stages and festivals such as Vive Latino and Coachella .
During 2020, despite the cancellation of live events, the Mejía-Avante brothers’ group continued to reap success after success. Their most recent album,  De Buenos Aires Para el Mundo,  debuted at  # 8 on Billboard’s Top Regional Mexican Albums chart , the group’s  12th album  to enter the  Top 10 on  the prominent chart. Currently, the album’s videos exceed  450 million  views on YouTube
Last August, Los Ángeles Azules became the first Mexican group to enter the prestigious  Billion Views Club  on YouTube by reaching one billion views of the video  “Never is Enough” Feat. Natalia Lafourcade. Months later, the video for  “Mis Sentimientos” feat. Ximena Sariñana  in turn reached the coveted figure, making Los Ángeles Azules the only Mexican group to have two videos exceeding one billion views on YouTube.
Recently, the group was recognized with the Award for Musical Legacy – Cumbia at Premio Lo Nuestro.
In this new tour, fans will be able to enjoy classics such as “How I’m Going to Olvidar” and “El Listón de tu Pelo”, and many new surprises in celebration of the group’s 40 years.
