LOS ÁNGELES AZULES ANNOUNCE SPECIAL GUESTS FOR THEIR 40 AÑOS USA TOUR

As part of their 40-year career celebration, Los Ángeles Azules announced today the special guests for the 40 Años USA Tour.
Guaynaa, the Puerto Rican music sensation, will join the Mejía-Avante siblings in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington, DC, and New York to present their hit single “Cumbia a la gente” which was recently remixed into “Fútbol a la gente” as the anthem for Univision’s “Verano de Campeones” summer-long campaign.
Likewise, Ximena Sariñana will perform alongside the group in the cities of Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well as Bakersfield and San Jose, CA. At the end of last year, “Mis Sentimientos” feat. Ximena Sariñana became Los Ángeles Azules’ second video to surpass 1 billion views on YouTube, crowning the group as the most viewed Mexican artist on the platform.
Jay de la Cueva will join the cumbia giants on 7 dates, while Chilean singer, Américo, will perform at the Greensboro, NC, Duluth, GA, Ft. Myers, FL, Washington, DC and New York shows.
Mexican rock band, Kinky, will have a very special appearance at the San Diego, California show on November 21st.
The 40 Años USA Tour will begin this August 26th in Corpus Christi, TX and will visit the country’s main cities until coming to an end on March 20th, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN.

Hailing from Iztapalapa, Mexico, Los Ángeles Azules are cumbia’s largest exponents worldwide, having taken their music to the most important stages and international festivals such as Vive Latino and Coachella.
During the past year, despite live events being canceled, the Mejía-Avante siblings continued achieving milestone after milestone and hit after hit. Their most recent album, De Buenos Aires Para el Mundo, debuted #8 on Billboard’s Top Regional Mexican Albums’ Chart, the group’s 12th album to enter the chart’s Top 10. Currently, the album’s music videos surpass 450 million views on YouTube.
Last August, Los Ángeles Azules became the first Mexican group to enter YouTube’s prestigious Billion Views’ Club when the music video for “Nunca Es Suficiente” feat. Natalia Lafourcade reached one million views. Weeks later, Los Ángeles Azules became the only Mexican act to have 2 videos with over 1 billion views on YouTube when the music video for “Mis Sentimientos” feat. Ximena Sariñana also achieved the milestone.
Recently, the group was recognized with the Premio Lo Nuestro- Cumbia Legacy Award.
In this new tour, fans will be able to enjoy classics such as “Cómo Te Voy a Olvidar” and “El Listón de tu Pelo”, as well as many more surprises in celebration of their 40 year career.
