Mars Horizon: BLAST OFF at the
UK Games Expo 🚀
The UK Games Expo is the largest Hobby Games Convention in the UK and this year it’s going digital.
We’re here representing our game Mars Horizon: BLAST OFF! This was inspired by our video game Mars Horizon – it’s creation came about through pen and paper prototypes of the digital version. Read the full story in our blog.
We are live right now running a panel discussion with experts from different areas of gaming and space.
- Time: 4pm – 5pm BST
- Host and guests:
- Dr. Tomas Rawlings (Host) – Co-designer of Mars Horizon: BLAST OFF!
- Dr. Jacob Fryxelius – Creator & designer of Terraforming Mars
- Dr. Sian Proctor – Geoscientist & Analog Astronaut
- Paul Smith – Robotic Exploration Programme Manager at the UK Space Agency
We’ve had two awesome live streams recently that are now available for you to watch on YouTube.
Libby Jackson is the Human Exploration Programme Manager for the UK Space Agency and is one of Britain’s foremost human spaceflight experts. Rewatch the stream to find out what it’s really like in mission control, working with astronauts, and learn all about the International Space Station!
Paul Smith, Robotic Exploration Programme Manager from the UK Space Agency, joined us to play Mars Horizon. Paul’s work focuses on the robotic exploration of Mars and the Moon. Rewatch to see the veg Mike has harvested, and learn about growing food in space.
