| Apex, NC — Limited Run Games is partnering with Nightdive Studios to release I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, the video game based on co-designer Harlan Ellison’s acclaimed short story, on Windows and Mac. Pre-orders will be available in very limited quantities on limitedrungames.com next Tuesday, August 10th, starting at 12 pm ET.
In a Limited Run first, Standard and Collector’s Editions of I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream will include the original 1995 physical release of the game. These fresh, uncirculated copies were part of Harlan Ellison’s personal collection, sitting in his storage space for over two decades until he sold them to Nightdive Studios.
I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is already a very difficult game to find complete and in decent condition, making these pieces some of the rarest versions available. Not only were they originally owned by Harlan Ellison, but these copies have never been on a retail shelf.
Limited Run Games and Nightdive Studios are excited to share Harlan Ellison’s genius with the world and to put more of his work back into circulation.
