LAUREN FREEBIRD RELEASES STUNNING NEW ALTERNATIVE COUNTRY TRACK “EITHER WAY”

Country-rock artist Lauren Freebird releases new single “Either Way.” You can listen to the the single here.

Continuing in her efforts to cultivate a strong female presence in the rock and country scene, this singer uses her unique sound to take listeners on a journey through the trials and tribulations of a post-heartbreak mindset.

“Either Way” packs a punch with its strong, steady beat provided by the drums as Lauren’s powerful voice draws your focus to the harrowing lyrics. Despite her age, Lauren can capture the all-too-real heart-wrenching feelings that come from losing a meaningful relationship. Her gritty, soulful vocals shine brilliantly as she belts out, “So I tore the pictures off the damn wall / and get lost in a couple glasses of alcohol.” However, as the song continues, we begin to see another side to Lauren’s personality, the “no bullshit” side that she uses to pull herself up by the bootstraps. There is a light at the end of the tunnel as she sings, “I’ve learned to love myself now / And that has filled your place / And mama said this wound would scab but / I’ll love you either way.” The haunting harmonies layered with the edginess of the electric guitar will have any listener hooked instantly.
