Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 80 External SSD Review

As an I.T specialist for a school district, we pride ourselves in making sure our computers are safe and secure. We have valuable data on our servers that we make sure are in tip top shape for every day use for our staff and teachers. When Vic told me about this device he saw at CES 2023 and how powerfully secure it is, I had to look more into it. The device he told me is the Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 80 External SSD 480 GB. After reading more about it online, I had Vic contact Kingston to try and review the SSD.

We were able to get a sample of the Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 80 External SSD 480 GB drive from Kingston to unbox and review. I was able to play around with the drive to set up on my computer. Then I used a few programs to try and brute force attack this drive, and it was able to stop each and every brute force attack. I’m enjoying using this drive at the moment securing my crucial data that I use daily. I hope one day school districts will look into this for a higher secure drive for their most sensitive data.
